Item description from the seller
The core difference between professional-grade and regular half-finger boxing gloves lies in the comprehensiveness of protective performance and the level of durability. The former is designed for high-intensity training/matches, while the latter only meets basic fitness needs.
The specific differences are reflected in three key dimensions:
1. Protective Structure: Professional-grade gloves use multi-layer high-density foam (such as EVA + memory foam composite) and focus on enhancing the cushioning at the base of the fingers and palms; regular-grade gloves mostly use single-layer low-density foam, which can only prevent minor bumps.
2. Material & Craftsmanship: Professional-grade gloves are made of top-grain leather or high-elastic Lycra, with double-thread reinforcement for stitching (to prevent cracking); regular-grade gloves are mostly made of PU leather or canvas, with single-thread stitching, which is prone to wear and tear after long-term use.
3. Fit & Support: Professional-grade gloves have double fixation of wrist Velcro + elastic bandage (to prevent sprains) and a more scientific design of palm air vents; regular-grade gloves mostly have simple Velcro, with poor palm breathability and easy slipping after long-term wear.
